About this Event
The UT School of Public Health San Antonio is hosting its National Public Health Week (NPHW) Kick-Off event titled “It Starts Here: The Power of Local Partnerships" to commence the annual celebration of public health initiatives and awareness. This event underscores the theme that public health begins within our communities and emphasizes the collective role individuals and organizations play in promoting health and well-being.
At this opening event, we invite the UT Health San Antonio and UTSA communities, along with local public health professionals, agencies, and policymakers, to explore the UT School of Public Health San Antonio's vision for fostering local partnerships in public health and wellbeing. The UT School of Public Health San Antonio will moderate a panel discussion on the vital role of healthcare partnerships in San Antonio’s public health landscape. Following the panel, the UT School of Public Health San Antonio and Bexar County Public Health will make an exciting announcement about a community-focused regional public health summit for spring of 2026.
