Kick It To The Max 2024

Max would have celebrated his 9th birthday on April 27th of this year. He LOVED his birthday, a good theme, decorations and being surrounded by his family and greatest friends. We want to celebrate Max's life and continue his legacy by helping other children and youth live their lives To The Max for years to come.

Sunday April 21st we will come together for our second annual Kick it the The Max event held at one of Max's favorite places, the MARA baseball fields! Join us for an exciting game of kickball where the Blue Sharks and the Green Stegosaurus's will go head-to-head raising money to benefit Take the Trip Foundation, Avondale's Max Shanks Scholarship Fund and Charlotte Bike Camp. All three of these local organizations are making a direct and positive impact in the lives of children and youth.

What you need to know...

• Your $50 ticket will include a game day t-shirt, a logo sticker, a free snow cone and playing time during the big game.
• All proceeds from the event will go directly to the three organizations listed above.
• Food will be available for purchase.
• No alcohol is permitted on the grounds of the MARA complex.
• We will break up the game into three 25 minute segments. One for kids, one for adults and one for everyone to join in together. Whenever you arrive and are ready to play, you can let the team captain in the dugout know.
• This is an inclusive game! All ages and abilities are encouraged and welcomed!
• Children 3 and under are free.
