A 2014-ben feltűnt izlandi elektronikus zenei duót, a Kiasmost két tapasztalt, külön-külön is jól ismert zeneszerző-producer alkotja. Tegyük hozzá, mindketten más-más stílusban tűntek fel. Janus Rasmussen a Bloodgroup trióval indie-s elektropopot játszott, amikor Ólafur Arnalds punkdobosként kezdte karrierjét. Utóbbi minimalista, posztrockos, modern klasszikus lemezeivel, aztán film- és tévésorozat-zenéivel a színtér egyik sztárja lett. 2014-ben pedig egy microhouse-os, tech house-os, táncos lemezzel együtt is berobbantak. A Kiasmos duó időről időre EP-kkel rukkolt elő, de tíz évvel a debüt után, 2024 nyarán kiadták ambientes-elegáns második lemezüket is. Öt év szünet után tértek vissza a koncertezéshez, a Müpában új albumuk anyagát mutatják be.A koncertre szeptember 13-án, 11 órától nyílik meg a jegyvásárlási lehetőség.

The Icelandic electronic musical duo Kiasmos, which emerged in 2014, was formed by two well-known and experienced songwriter-producers. Though the pair made their initial breakthroughs in two different styles. While Janus Rasmussen played indie electropop in the trio Bloodgroup, Ólafur Arnalds begun his career as a punk drummer. The latter became a star of the Iceland music scene thanks to his minimalist post-rock and modern classical records, then music for film and television. In 2014, they exploded on to the scene as a double act with a record of microhouse, tech house and dance music. Kiasmos put out the odd EP from time to time, before releasing their elegant and ambient second album in the summer of 2024, ten years after their debut. Now, after a five-year hiatus, they are returning to performing concerts and will showcase material from their new album at Müpa Budapest.
Tickets will be available from 11 a.m. on September 13th.
