Melbourne-based progressive heavy psych trio 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧 present their fourth studio album '𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦 // 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐮𝐬𝐭'. The concept album, featuring two 23 minute songs, explores the suffering of a man possessed by the spirit of the god of death, Erlik (Turkic/Mongolian mythology).
The new album and accompanying Australian tour follow a year of heavy touring with back-to-back European tours in May and August performing at festivals Sonic Whip in Nijmegen, Desertfest London, Desertfest Berlin, Dunk!festival in Ghent, Krach am Bach in Beelen, Hoflärm festival in Seelbach and a run of shows with REZN (US).
𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧 will be playing the new album in it's entirety on the Australian album launch tour, along with a selection of songs from the rest of their catalogue. The tour hits 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞 on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 at 𝐉𝐢𝐯𝐞 with special guests, desert rock outfit 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 and 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 label buddies, progressive post-metal trio 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟.
