Enjoy fine dining, a silent auction, and an inspiring look at the nonprofit’s mission. Guest speakers include Eric Rasmussen, MD, MDM, FACP, a physician specializing in global disaster response and its intersection with modern medical ethics. He was selected as the founding CEO of the TED Prize and became CEO of Infinitum Humanitarian Systems, a Seattle-based international consulting firm specializing in humanitarian sciences. Imam Akram will also speak.

Cancer rates in Skardu have increased over the past 10 years. Khair Global is working to develop a cancer treatment center in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, to provide medical access to 1.5 million people across five surrounding districts. The current center is in serious disrepair and very basic, lacking essential amenities for people undergoing chemotherapy. Patients deserve care in a facility that can meet their needs.
