Kristin Family and Friends are delighted to offer Taste of the Farm hosted by Michael and Bee Van de Elzen.
Take a beautiful mid-week drive out west to enjoy a morning at Good from Scratch, Muriwai. Taste of the Farm is an interactive demo where Michael shares his techniques, tips and tricks for the kitchen, using some of the freshest ingredients from the Good from Scratch kitchen gardens. Head Gardener Adrianne will take you on an immersive garden tour to show you the Good From Scratch practices we use to grow a sustainable garden year-round. After the garden tour, we will head back to the cooking school, where Mike will have a light lunch prepared. Guests will be able to purchase a glass; of locally produced wine, a handcrafted beer, or a Homemade Soda. Then be seated as a group to enjoy Good From Scratch food whilst enjoying the stunning views over Muriwai Valley. Lunch will finish at approximately 12:45 pm to allow you to relax and look through the market shelves filled with local artisan produce.
