5-6pm: The Intersection of Technology and Democracy: How Innovation is Shaping our Political Landscape
This is an interactive conversation featuring leading voices in Kansas City who are applying novel approaches to empower decision-makers with data. Hear from Stephanie Sharp of VoteSmart, Drew Stiehl of My Sidewalk, and Mitch Mabry as they discuss how technology is transforming elections in 2024 and beyond. Political leaders are part of the equation, but the most important decision-makers are you! Together, let’s explore how we can use data to make better, more informed decisions.
6-7pm: Entrepreneurs & The Political Process
Gear up for election time with a robust, nonpartisan discussion featuring Emily Weber from the Missouri House of Representatives, Stephanie Campbell from The Beacon, and Stephenie Smith from Sophic Solutions. They will explore how entrepreneurs can engage with the political process and advocate for themselves within their communities and at the policy level. Additionally, representatives from Revolución Educativa will be onsite to assist with voter registration, so bring your friends and get involved!
7-8pm: Rebuild Honestly
Join us for a deep dive into societal challenges and a look at innovative solutions, organizations and people who are forging new paths.
