Keynote - Mentors-of-the-Moment: Creating a Mentoring-Rich Culture

Learn some of the top evidence-based mentoring strategies for faculty and staff, how to leverage and equity-minded approach to your work, as well as the key ingredients of a strong mentoring culture. Rather than rely solely mentoring “programs,” the speakers will reveal strategies for daily showing up as a “mentor-of-the-moment,” leveraging delightful opportunities to enhance self-esteem, self-confidence, psychological capital, and a sense of belonging in students and new professionals. Finally, this keynote will address mentoring across difference and how a mentoring culture can supercharge efforts around equity and inclusion.
