Key Topics in Restorative Dentistry presents a symposium on 'Adhesion' by experts who will provide an insight into some of the important aspects of providing adhesive dentistry techniques in restorative dentistry. This will be held at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden with complimentary entry to the museum for all delegates.

Aws Alani will begin the day with an overview of the adhesive aspects of restorations. He will appraise the different avenues that adhesive dentistry can be utilised and the development of the 'additive adhesive' ethos. The science and applicability of the acid etched technique will be disseminated.
Frances Brelsford will then provide a synopsis of adhesive posterior restorations and the various different techniques through which this are achieved. She will provide an appraisal of the different considerations and refer to the current biomimetic approaches to restoring the structurally compromised unit.

Matthias Kern will be streamed live from Germany to give an overview of cutting edge approaches in utilising adhesion to replace missing teeth. He will provide an analysis of using metal ceramic and all ceramic adhesive bridgework and the various differences in provision.
Last, but not least, Mahul Patel will then provide a comprehensive pathway of decision making when assessing and delivering indirect adhesive restorations on the compromised tooth unit. He will present the challenges in providing optimal restorations including veneers, onlays and inlay restorations.
