About this Event
Key Caregivers: Practical Caregiving Training Program is a five-week Adult & Community Education support class hosted by Key Health Care. The class meets every Wednesday from August 19, 2026 through September 16, 2026 at Olympic Heights Community High School in Boca Raton, Florida.
This class is designed to support individuals who are currently caring for someone, may become a caregiver in the future, or may need help understanding how to prepare for care needs.
Caregiving can quickly become overwhelming without the right tools, organization, and support. Through guided instruction and real-world application, participants will learn practical strategies for organizing care information, managing appointments and medications, improving communication with healthcare providers and family members, and creating a clear, manageable system for daily caregiving.
The class also addresses caregiver balance and stress management, helping participants think through how to support others while maintaining stability for themselves.
Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Palm Beach County Adult & Community Education and may be eligible to earn the Certified Informal Caregiver (CIC) designation issued by Key Health Care.
