Bios
Singer-songwriter Michael Lisinski started the post-punk project Kestrel Blue as a mission to rescue past futures for the present, alongside a rotating cast of musicians and collaborators from Ottawa's music scene and beyond. Drawing from tunesmiths like The Cure and XTC as much as sonic explorers like Squid and Fontaines D.C., Kestrel Blue’s songs reflect themes of heartbreak, hardship, familial loss, and existentialism in a world where creation is a means of survival.
Blonde Roast is an emo-lovin', folk-rockin' project led by Anna Belle that has been brewing both original works and genre-blending covers. Taking inspiration from artists such as Elliott Smith, The Tragically Hip and Wednesday, Blonde Roast loves to experiment in combining elements from as many fields as possible to forge their own unique sound.

Your ticket guarantees you a seat in the house but not necessarily a seat with a direct line of sight to the performers. We recommend coming early to snag a spot or if you need accommodations, like a guaranteed seat for accessibility reasons, to please email us at [email protected] at least 72 hours before the event.
Limited quantity of tickets available. If the event has not sold out online, there will be tickets available at the counter.

IMPORTANT ACCESSIBILITY INFO
We provide gender-neutral washrooms. We have one wheelchair accessible washroom. There is no wheelchair ramp. There is a set of 8 stairs to get into the building (7 steps, small landing, and then an 8th step). Once inside, the whole cafe floor is flat, with the exception of our small room to the side, which is a small step down.
We are licensed to provide alcohol, but serve a variety of non-alcoholic options.
This event takes place on the traditional unceded, unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin People.
