Fostered through their time together at MacEwan University, the Evergreen Trio is the nexus of the collective improvisatory tomfoolery of this group of close friends. Exploring the creative horizons of the guitar trio, Evergreen draws from greats like Jim Hall, Wes Montgomery, Nir Felder, and Julian Lage. Despite the constantly changing locations of each of the members, largely because of their further studies in music, they return frequently enough to Edmonton to continue to strengthen their perennial musical bond - with a new fresh coat of paint each time. This time, they are joined by long-time friend and funk-master extrodinaire Peter Filice, winner of the "Top Cold-Cut Connoisseur" at the Edmonton Trombone Awards. Bring an instrument for the jam to follow.
