Vanas kaupmehemajas läheb lahti hinnalise meekoogi tegu, nii nagu see vanal ajal kombeks oli, kahe puuvormi vahel. Juhendama saabub kaugelt Ungarimaalt meistrid Angéla Milner ja Mirtill Seregély Valmistatakse keskaegses stiilis piparkooke ja kaunistatakse traditsioonilisi Ungari meekooke.Suhkrumassiga kaunistamise ehk kirjapulgatehnika meister Angéla Milner ja tagumispuutehnika meister Mirtill Seregély on pühendunud traditsiooniliste meenukkude valmistamisele ja populariseerimisele. Nad sõtkuvad ise tainast, ise küpsetavad ja ka kaunistavad ise valmis koogikesi. Mõlemad on Pest-Buda käsitööliste rahvakunsti seltsi liikmed, kus nad lisaks ise piparkookide valmistamisele annavad oma oskusi ka teistele edasi. Ungarikeelsed õpetused tõlgime kohapeal eesti keelde ja inglise keelde.
Tallinna Liszti instituudi ja Hopneri maja koostöös saab koos meistritega järele proovida mõlemat tehnikat. Valmistame eelnevalt kerkima pandud tainast koha peal piparkoogivormide abil ise kaunistatud jõuluehteid ja lõhnavaid, meemaitselisi pidupäeva kingitusi.
Töötuba sobib 7-107 aastastele maiasmokkadele.

In an old merchant's house, a precious honey cake is made, as it was customary in the old days, between two wooden molds. Masters Angéla Milner and Mirtill Seregély will come from Hungary to instruct. In the workshop, gingerbread cookies are made in the medieval style and we will also learn how to decorate traditional Hungarian honey cakes.
Angéla Milner, a master of the sugar paste decoration or writing stick technique, and Mirtill Seregély, a master of the backwood technique, are dedicated to making and popularizing traditional gingerbread dolls. They knead the dough themselves, bake it themselves, and decorate the finished cookies themselves. Both are members of the Pest-Buda Craftsmen's Folk Art Society, where in addition to making gingerbread themselves, they also pass on their skills to others. We translate the Hungarian instructions into Estonian and English on site.
In cooperation with the Tallinn Liszt Institute and Hopner House, you can try out both techniques with the masters. We will make Christmas decorations and fragrant, honey-flavored holiday gifts from pre-risen dough on site using gingerbread molds.
The workshop is suitable for sweet tooths aged 7-107.
