Kerson Leong continues to win over colleagues and audiences alike with “a mixture of spontaneity and mastery, elegance, fantasy, [and] intensity that makes his sound recognizable from the first notes” (Le Monde).

Recent season highlights include solo performances with such ensembles as the Royal, Oslo, Brussels, Kansai, and Liège Royal Philharmonic Orchestras; the Seattle, Singapore, Toledo, Montreal, Tucson, Bilkent, Toronto, Vancouver, Stavanger, and Wuppertal Symphony Orchestras; a recital tour of the Midwestern United States; and a recording of John Rutter’s Visions with the composer himself and the Aurora Chamber Orchestra, following its world premiere in London, UK.

As a sought-after soloist, he was hand-picked by Yannick Nézet-Séguin to serve as artist-in-residence with the Orchestre Métropolitain during the 2018–2019 season and has performed in such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium, Wigmore Hall, the Auditorium du Louvre, and the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing.

Kerson Leong continue de séduire collègues et publics grâce à « un mélange de spontanéité et de maîtrise, d’élégance, de fantaisie et d’intensité qui rend son jeu reconnaissable dès les premières notes » (Le Monde).

Parmi les temps forts de ses dernières saisons figurent des prestations en soliste avec des ensembles tels que les orchestres philharmoniques de Royal, Oslo, Bruxelles, Kansai et Liège ; les orchestres symphoniques de Seattle, Singapour, Toledo, Montréal, Tucson, Bilkent, Toronto, Vancouver, Stavanger et Wuppertal ; une tournée de récitals dans le Midwest des États-Unis ; ainsi que l’enregistrement de Visions de John Rutter avec le compositeur lui-même et l’Aurora Chamber Orchestra, après avoir assuré la création mondiale de l’œuvre à Londres. Soliste très sollicité, il a été personnellement choisi par Yannick Nézet-Séguin comme artiste en résidence de l’Orchestre Métropolitain pour la saison 2018–2019, et s’est produit dans des salles prestigieuses telles que le Stern Auditorium du Carnegie Hall, le Wigmore Hall, l’Auditorium du Louvre et le Centre national des arts de la scène à Pékin.
