About this Event
We will do monthly meet-ups to explore the ecology and history of the Kern River Valley. As weather allows, we will do our learning outdoors in the form of hiking, exploring, and nature observations. An optional virtual class will be offered the day before most meet-ups to learn about what we will be exploring.
This club will meet on the second Thursday of each month from 10:00-12:00 on the following dates:

- 10/12
- 11/9
- 1/11
- 2/8
- 3/14
- 4/11
- 5/9
Completing this registration is the first step in joining this club. Final registration steps will be emailed to everyone who registers on Eventbrite.
Heartland clubs are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Only students registered for the club will be able to attend.
