About this Event
This free event will provide valuable insights into recognizing the signs of depression linked to PTSD, a condition affecting over 30% of first responders, compared to approximately 10% of the general population. Studies show higher rates of suicidal thoughts and attempts among paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, and law enforcement, where an estimated 125 to 300 officers die by suicide each year.
Lunch will be provided.
Continuing education credits available for pre-hospital responders.
Spouses of first responders are encouraged to attend. There is a 2 ticket max for attendees.
