2.0 CE hours for optometrists. Epi-on cross-linking(Epioxa) and tissue-addition keratoplasty(CTAK) for keratoconus. $25(+tax) registration.
About this Event

A practical evening review of what has changed in keratoconus management in the past 18 months — and what to do with it Monday morning.

In October 2025, the FDA approved the first incision-free, epithelium-on corneal cross-linking treatment (Epioxa, Glaukos). Corneal tissue-addition keratoplasty (CTAK) reached enough U.S. centers that patients are now asking about it. Most practicing optometrists have not yet received structured education on either.

This course closes that gap. Course content is independently developed, peer-reviewed by an unaffiliated cornea specialist, and balanced across all currently FDA-approved cross-linking options and the full alternatives panel (CAIRS, Intacs, topo-guided PRK, scleral lenses, DALK, PKP).

WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE ABLE TO DO

• Stage keratoconus using current tomography and biomechanical indices, and know when to refer.

• Compare candidacy and expected outcomes across epi-off cross-linking, epi-on cross-linking, and corneal tissue-addition keratoplasty.

• Apply updated co-management protocols, including how to distinguish sterile from microbial post-operative infiltrate.
