Week 7 of the Kentwood Summer Doubles 2023 season beings this afternoon, a 6pm tee time.
Format is Captain’s choice doubles. Teams are chosen at random from Pro,Adv, Rec. Rec is paired with pro until we run out of pros, followed by REC/ADV, then ADV/ADV , and lastly REC/REC. (Women rec players get first draw for pro partners.)
Top 40% payout, 18 ctps , (2 of the ctps are $1 from each player to make the Bag o Bucks holes #9 and #18), Ace pool will be $1 from each player. Throw off if not hit, ace wins, or 70% 1st / 30% 2nd place ctp format.
Top non cashing rec/rec teams will earn discs.
New Season Discs are in from Innova, Disccraft, & MVP, plus we have Dynamic.
Season Trophys for the Top 3 season points earners in each division, as well as the best of 10 weeks scoring average.
The PRO season points winner also gets to help design next year's stamp and put their face on the stamp.
Onsite registration opens at 5:10pm at the picnic pavilion aka TD central, assuming no kids birthday parties. Online pre-registration for each week opens the next day at midnight for the following Friday.
**Online requests will have precedence over later onsite requests, and we will do our best to honor those, but sometimes multiple requests happen for some players preventing that, so just be advised that even online requests can sometimes not happen and the card request order will go to the inital requester, but also note that the person being requested can override the request and make final call.
*To pre-register online, simply pay $10 via paypal or venmo, then message the KWDGC facebook page with a screen shot of your paypal or venmo pmt. confirmation. Include your name, your division, PRO, ADV, OR REC/AM. REGISTRATION IS $10 on Venmo, or $10.71 on paypal since they no longer allow friends and family for the non profit paypal.

If you receive a thumbs up on FaceBook Messenger then your online registration was processed, and you DO NOT need to make another leaderboard card. I.E. DO NOT FILL OUT A STICKER WITH YOUR NAME ON IT, but please still drop by the registration table upon arrival to say hi and confirm that you are checked into UDISC. We have lots of new players coming into the sport so it would be nice to meet you and put a name to a face:). If you don't have your phone with you, please tell Mike Kirsch and he can check you into udisc from the admin tab, you must be checked in so that your card can add you to a team for score keeping purposes.
IF YOU WISH TO PAY DIGITALLY IN PERSON, PLEASE SHOW THE PMT. CONFIRMATION AT THE TIME YOU REGISTER, SO PLEASE HAVE THAT DONE AND UP AND READY TO SHOW US PRIOR TO VISITING THE TABLE, i.e. please don’t clog up the line standing there with 10 people behind you while you start clicking to pay ….
IF YOU HAVE VERIZON, the signal is sometimes poor so i'd suggest you check in prior to arriving as the signal at kentwood for some reason is not very good.
