Join us for our Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, April 26 at Pinewood Park, 1999 Wolfboro Dr SE.
We will kick off the celebration at noon with an Arbor Day proclamation, followed by a tree planting and a park nature tour. Complimentary refreshments will be available afterwards.
The City of Kentwood will be distributing free tree native seedlings to community members throughout the week leading up to Arbor Day. Seedlings will be available for pick up at the Kentwood Activities Center, 355 48th St. SE, from Tuesday, April 25 through Friday, April 28 during business hours or until supplies are gone.
When you get your seedling, be sure to take a picture when you plant the tree and post it to social media using #GreeningKentwood. Together we’ll make Kentwood a greener community!
