Emmy Award winner and lifelong Elvis fan Jim Dever of KING 5 Evening will be the host and emcee of Kentucky Rain Band’s Elvis Challenge. Dever always enjoys donning his Elvis suit to sing “Blue Suede Shoes.”Multiple local amateur Elvis impersonators will be competing to be crowned the winner of the inaugural “Elvis Challenge.” Contestants will be judged on four categories: vocal performance, costume and appearance, stage presence, and audience response.
A star-studded list of contestants confirmed for the event include:
• Seattle area radio broadcaster Shane Cobane
• Rock musician (Metal Church, Alive85) Steve Unger
• Snohomish County Real Estate broker Gus Mansour
• Seattle radio personality and voiceover artist John Nelson
• Award-winning performer Transelvistite makes her return to the stage
• Plus many more contestants!
Local “pro” Elvis Tribute Artists Robbie Dee of Everett, WA and Bret Wiggins, of Seattle, WA will also be performing at the show. The contestants and performers will all be backed by Kentucky Rain Band, the Northwest’s #1 Elvis Tribute Artist & Rock-n-Roll Band, based in Everett, WA.
