Based out of South Central Kentucky, Kentucky Just Us, is a family group featuring tight harmonies, heartwarming lyrics, and a fresh sound that is all their own. While their music is unique, it is strongly influenced by Bluegrass, Old-Time Country, Gospel, and family-based values.The band began in October of 2014 with only vocals and a guitar. Since then they have added an upright bass, fiddle, mandolin, and banjo. The band has played many venues such as the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN, Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO, Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival in Farmers Branch, TX, and many more. Kentucky Just Us released their first album in 2015, “The Land of Bluegrass” and just recently released their newest album “Recorded Live”. The band has had the opportunity to learn from some of the finest musicians in the world, including the legendary fiddle player Buddy Spicher, and banjo extraordinaire Gary "Biscuit" Davis.
