Celebrate the excitement of the Kentucky Derby with a hands-on basketry workshop led by BHC Education Curator Vicky Heffner! Participants will create a Kentucky Derby Hat Basket, a charming design that resembles a stylish hat and makes a stunning centerpiece when filled with a bouquet of dried hydrangeas.
This workshop provides an enjoyable and creative experience for basketry enthusiasts of all levels, combining traditional weaving techniques with a festive, seasonal project.
Cost: $50 for BHC Members • $60 for Non-Members
Location: Berks History Center, 940 Centre Ave., Reading, PA
