This year’s festival will feature a unique visual element in the sky: ❤️🪁 heart-shaped kites flown by the AlasKiters professional kiting group, using recently released Peter Lynn kite kits.
Peter Lynn, a globally recognized kite maker and innovator who helped shape modern kite flying and large-scale display kites, passed away earlier this year. His influence continues to be seen in kite festivals around the world, including right here in Kenai.

🪁 Build-A-Kite Station: create your own kite and watch it soar
🎶 Family activities, music, bubbles, Otter Pops, and more
🌭 Food trucks: (available for purchase) Bring a picnic blanket, grab a bite, and enjoy an afternoon in the sunshine beneath the kites. Featuring: Wok N' Roll, Lailas, Jenny's Deli, Smash-N-Dash LLC & More!
✨ Bonus Event:
Join the Kenai Community Library the day before for a DIY kite workshop, where participants will create heart-shaped kites inspired by professional designs—perfect to bring and fly at the festival.(check back here for details)
