Award-winning guitarist and composer Ken Verheecke, based in Northern Michigan, has spent more than three decades offering music shaped by a quiet but steady faith. Since 1993 he has served as a full-time musician, creating work that does more than soothe: it invites reflection, wonder, and a deeper sense of God’s goodness, mercy, and grace.
Rooted in his Christian faith, Ken’s music is an offering… meant to point listeners toward the Lord and leave room for prayer, rest, and His presence.
Over the years he has held publishing deals with the Eddie Crook Company and Maranatha Music. In 2017 he signed with Heart Dance Records and released three instrumental, electronic-based albums. Consider the Moon & Stars reached No. 5 on the ZMR Top 100 and was featured on 180 radio stations worldwide. Between Earth & Sky reached No. 9 on the ZMR Top 100, and both albums appeared on the ballot for the 2019 Grammy Awards. His next Heart Dance release, Tripping the Light Fantastic, was inspired by his 2018 move to Northern Michigan and time spent running along Mullet Lake. It was nominated for ZMR’s “Best Chill Album” of 2019.
Since his debut in 1993, Ken has released several albums, and his music has been streamed millions of times across digital platforms.
