About this Event

Tina Snow Le (she/her) a Vietnamese-American graphic designer and music selector based in Brooklyn, NY. Her artistic practice is rooted in self-evolution, exploring themes of vulnerability, spirituality, and community.
Her passion for design and music has led her to curate hi-fi listening sessions through Source AV, and DJing on vinyl for quintessential spaces such as Papi Juice, Bubble T, The Lot Radio, Lichen, Eavesdrop, and Rodeo.

As a creative leader, she has 13 years of experience shaping culturally resonant brands and products for Spotify and Nike. Currently as a Staff Designer at Spotify, her focus is to drive design initiatives on the Visual Merchandising team across product, editorial, and internal tooling for content artwork in 180 markets.
Tina is a 2012 alum of the Portland State University Graphic Design program at The Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design.
The Matthias Kemeny Design Lecture Series is coordinated and managed by students in our in-house design studio called Rodeo. This series brings internationally celebrated design professionals annually to Portland to give a lecture for the benefit of the students and faculty in the Graphic Design program and the broader design community. This series is free and open to the public and highlights a wide range of design practices in an attempt to facilitate a community-wide dialogue about design and related fields. The Matthias D. Kemeny Charitable Fund of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation has made the series possible.

Organized by Portland State University Graphic Design
