We are also looking into vendors being at this event. We will keep you updated!

Timeline:
6:30am-7:15am- Body marking & Transition Set-Up
7:15am- Course Review
7:30am Race Start
9:30am-Raffle & Potluck
Important Information:
-Helmets Are Mandatory during the bike portion. If your butt is on
the bike, your helmet is strapped on your head.
-Race is open course, roads will not be closed- mind all cars, pedestrians and cyclists
-Bike course will have stop lights, yield to traffic and obey all road laws & lights
-This is a beginner friendly triathlon. All are warmly welcomed to come out and race!
-This is a not a training triathlon. There will not be any clinics available.
-You Are Responsible For Your Own Gear. We will not have security on site.
Course:
1) Swim 2 laps around the buoy- 750 meters
2) Bike- ride down the Silver Strand to the scenic point parking lot and back -12 miles flat
3) Run- Enjoy the run to the golf course and back- 3.1 miles

There will be people on course guiding you. There will be 1 water station along the run course
Bring your own fuel/fluids for the bike and run
Parking:
-Park in front of Glorietta Bay Park, in front of the Coronado Community Center and along Silver Strand.
-Give yourself extra time in the morning to find parking in the morning as we except a large amount of awesome athletes just like you!
-It is a Sunday so most spaces should be free, but be mindful of all posted street signs. We are not responsible for your parking tickets.

This is a free event, but with any free event there are still costs. Any donation is always appreciated to keep our Kelp Kabob Yearly Triathlon tradition going. To keep this tradition open to the community we need to purchase permits, and insurance.
