This September Long Weekend, we’re bringing something truly special to our dance community!
Join us for an unforgettable weekend of bachata workshops, social dancing, and connection featuring talented instructors from Victoria, BC.
✨ A rare opportunity to train with these instructors right here in Kelowna! ✨
Instead of traveling outside the Okanagan to experience this level of instruction, dancers in our community will have the chance to learn from experienced instructors, explore different styles of bachata, and connect with dancers from across the region, all in one incredible weekend.

Whether you’re coming with a friend, a partner, or joining us solo, you’ll be welcomed into the community. Throughout the workshops, we rotate partners so everyone has the opportunity to learn, practice, and connect with different dancers in a fun and supportive environment.

🌟 MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS 🌟
🔥 Sebastian y Hannah - Bachata Influence Certified Instructors
We’re beyond excited to welcome Sebastian y Hannah from Victoria, BC!
Fresh from completing their Bachata Influence Certification Training in Barcelona, Sebastian y Hannah are bringing the Bachata Influence style to Kelowna.
They are also co-founders of Bachata Victoria, helping grow and support the bachata community through their passion for teaching, connection, and social dancing.
Known for their incredible dancing, musicality, and connection, Sebastian y Hannah bring their experience, passion, and love of bachata to every class.
🔥 Jean y Ino - Modern Bachata (ConRi-Inspired Style)
Jean brings a strong background in modern bachata and ConRi style, having earned Silver at the LA JnJ ConRi Social Competition and becoming ConRi Certified.
Known for his highly skilled musicality, creativity, and ability to interpret the music through movement, Jean brings a deep understanding of how to connect with the music and express it through dance.
🔥 Jalem - Modern Bachata
Jalem is one of the creators of Fuego Jam in Victoria, where he has helped build a welcoming and supportive community for bachata dancers.
As an instructor, Jalem is known for his positive energy, encouraging teaching style, and genuine passion for helping others grow on the dance floor.
A school teacher by day and a dance instructor by night, Jalem has invested countless hours into his own bachata training over the years and is excited to share his knowledge, experience, and passion with the Kelowna dance community.

🤝 PARTNERWORK WORKSHOPS
All workshops throughout the weekend are partnerwork classes.
These workshops are designed for dancers who have some basic bachata experience and are ready to continue developing their skills, connection, musicality, and confidence with a partner.
Dancers will rotate throughout the workshops, giving everyone the opportunity to learn, practice, and connect with different dance partners.
Whether you’re a few classes into your bachata journey, looking to build a stronger foundation, or an experienced social dancer wanting to refine your technique, there will be opportunities to learn, grow, and be challenged throughout the weekend.

Doors will open at 1:00 PM for the afternoon workshops. Please note that, due to venue guidelines, all attendees must exit the building by 5:00 PM following the workshops.
Registration will reopen at 8:00 PM for the evening social. The social will run until 11:30 PM, and all attendees must exit the building by that time in accordance with venue requirements.
