Kelly/Scott Jazztet brings their "Artfully Christmas" program to Blue Bamboo, a favorite holiday concert around the Southeast so popular it led to their 2025 CD of the same name.
The quintet, featuring award-winning vocalist Lisa Kelly, Warburton Signature Trumpet Artist JB Scott, Jeff Phillips on keys, Corbin Schmid on bass, and Clyde Connor on drums, reimagines timeless Christmas and seasonal songs through swing, Bossa Nova, samba, ballads, and New Orleans flavored jazz, alongside selections from the Great American Songbook.
The group's collective résumé spans the Larry Elgart Orchestra, the New York Pops, Walt Disney World, the Dukes of Dixieland, and the Navy Commodores, and they've performed everywhere from the Vienna State Opera House and Kennedy Center to sold-out shows at jazz clubs and festivals across the country. Autographed CDs will be available at the concert.
