Kimberly steps into the light with her debut album “Keeping Promises” closely in tow. A body of work that explores the beauty of imperfection and the authenticity that accompanies the pursuit of capturing a feeling, rather than chasing the perfect take. Self-recorded and self-produced in the makeshift intimacy of her home studio, the album leans into vulnerability, capturing each song as an unvarnished snapshot of a feeling or memory. The result is a body of work that pulses with authenticity: a quiet rebellion that invites listeners to sit with what is real rather than looking away.
To celebrate the release, Kimberly will be joined by fellow singer-songwriters from Naarm and the Northern Rivers: the ever-ethereal Gaia Scarf and cherished-charm of Call the Doctor. Together, they promise a night of honest storytelling, tender melodies, and shared reflections that will leave you windswept and raw.
This event will take place on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Peoples of the Kulin Nation. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
