About this Event
Keeping Children Safe in Placements
Join us for an insightful event focused on Keeping Children Safe in Placements. This in-person gathering will take place at the Crystal Gateway Marriott. Learn from experts in the field and participate in discussions on best practices to ensure the safety and well-being of children in placements. The training provides strategies for tribal social service agencies to assess potential foster care placements of children through character investigative background checks based on the Native American Children’s Safety Act (P.L. 114-165) and Title IV-E (if applicable). Learn practical creative thinking skills by organizing the thought process to conceptualize, interpret, and draw conclusions to justify and communicate findings. Tribal social service agencies will be provided techniques and tools to develop or enhance a foster care placement licensing or certification process to ensure the ongoing safety of children.
Don't miss this opportunity to network with other professionals and gain valuable insights. Register here to secure your spot! The session will be during the USET/USET SPF Impact Week in Arlington, VA.
