Keeper: a Brooch Club Exhibition
About this Event
Brooch Club brings together contemporary jewellers from across Sydney in a group exhibition celebrating the brooch in all its forms - conceptual, functional, sculptural and symbolic.
Through a shared studio-based social club, whch has run from may to September, participants have explored the theme of Keeper, considering ideas of memory, value, connection, care, and what it means to hold, carry, or preserve something through adornment.
Contemporary jewellers draw on a rich diversity of materials, processes, and perspectives, bringing unique approaches to the creation of wearable objects. As a Sydney Craft Week event, Brooch Club celebrates both the making of contemporary jewellery and the communities that form around creative practice, learning, and exchange.
The culmination of months of conversations, meet ups, designing and making, Keeper: A Brooch Club Exhibition showcases the diverse voices and practices of its participants. Together, these works reflect personal stories, skilled craftsmanship, experimentation, and the collective spirit of a vibrant jewellery community.
Exhibition Duration: 2–16 October 2026
Opening Event: Saturday 10 October, 2–4pm
Pin Swap: Saturday 14 November, 6–8pm
The gallery will be open daily throughout Sydney Craft Week 2026.
