Norman Regional Health System, Norman Public Schools and the Norman Regional Health Foundation are partnering together to bring free CPR classes to our community. We are pleased to support the American Heart Association (AHA) and it’s important goal of increasing survival from cardiac arrest. The Family & Friends® CPR Course teaches life saving skills in a group environment using the AHA’s research-proven technique.
Since the ability to administer CPR is based more on body strength than age, this class is recommended for ages 12 and older, but according to the AHA, studies have shown that children as young as nine years old can learn and retain CPR.
There is no certification for this course and no cards will be issued. A completion certificate will be provided.
