The music is always dark but highly danceable, from leftfield bass to dubbed-out techno and breakbeats. Often percussive, sometimes unpredictable with jabs of searing acid, weird noises and the occasional sensual vocal sample. Don’t underestimate the warmup at the start - we recommend going from open to close.
The Running order / lineup will be posted in the club on the night.

⦿ Kink / fetish wear is encouraged. Latex, leather, PVC +++
⦿ There is no strict dress code.
⦿ Dress to sweat.
⦿ When not in use the accessible toilet which can be used for changing

The party is a shared creation. The DJs and organisers set the scene, but it is you who brings it to life. Bring great dancing energy, dive in and dress up. Look after your friends, respect everyone’s space and contribute to the dance floor.
★ 𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗞 𝗣𝗥𝗘 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 ★
Before Keep It Dark kicks off, ASTERISK will be hosting a pre-event at aerial. This will be free and open to all and especially welcomes members of the trans and queer community.
After the event everyone will be invited to walk together to Keep It Dark.
20:00 — Doors open, welcome cocktail
20:30 — Artist talk and p*rn film screening with Frida Retz
21:30 — Conversation with author and activist Laura Méritt
23:00 — group walk from aerial to Østre for KEEP IT DARK

ASTERISK is a Bergen-based queer multidisciplinary event series and platform celebrating our talented local and international queer artists and performers, it is an alternative event/production project with the aim to create safer spaces for queer and transgender people within institutions and public spaces to showcase artistic interdisciplinary work, such as happenings, performance, sound, and visual art and films. ASTERISK was founded by artist Kaeto Sweeney in 2020.
