About this Event

Join us for the first annual “Keep Austin Conference…Find a Spouse, Build a House.” We live in a time that is hostile to the good life of family life. In these confusing times, come learn how to find your spouse (or love the one you have) and how to keep your marriage centered on Christ and his Word. Our speakers are Rev. Michael Foster, pastor and best-selling author of “It’s Good to Be a Man” and Rev. Rich Lusk, pastor and author of such books as “Paedofaith.” This conference is sure to bless singles and married couples alike. 

Friday, October 7th : 6pm-9pm

Saturday, October 8th : 9am-12pm

The Keep Austin Conference aims to equip Christians to found, build, and keep faithful households that will fearlessly charge into the upside-down world in which we live with a joyful resolve to glorify God in their home and so advance the kingdom of God in the midst of the ruins of Western Civilization.

Michael Foster is the Senior Pastor of East River Church in Batavia, Ohio. He is the co-author of “It's Good to Be a Man: A Handbook for Godly Masculinity”. He has served as a youth pastor, church planter, and associate pastor. He studied history at NKU and graduated from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Emily, have seven kids.

Rich Lusk is pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church (CREC) in Birmingham, Alabama. He has previously served at Auburn Avenue Presbyterian in Monroe, LA and Redeemer Presbyterian in Austin, TX. He has written a number of position papers, articles, and book contributions, as well as "Paedofaith: A Primer on the Mystery of Infant Salvation and a Handbook for Covenant Parents" and “Ruth Through New Eyes” a commentary on the book of Ruth. He and his wife, Jenny, have four children. Rich has a B.S. from Auburn University and an M.A. from the University of Texas.
