Keel Country Blues and its raw, rhythmic style is defined by hypnotic repetitive guitar riffs, a strong focus on percussion, and a trance-like groove -- prioritizing 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 and 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 over complex chord changes. Nick Keel and his band follow the traditions of Juke Blues and Hill Country, differing from Delta Blues by emphasizing rhythm and African-rooted polyrhythms.

THE SPACE

The WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots, the space provides a laid-back, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts.
