Based on the New Testament gospels, mostly St. Matthew, GODSPELL uses the parables and passion story of Jesus for an inventively theatrical and interactive show about the formation of a community – and the demonstration of joy. With a live band, an eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, shine as Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus’ messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life in GODSPELL.
Recommended for older youth and adults.
