You are invited to learn from the inspiring new KCDW member Ramsie Monk, Development Director for the Women’s Health Centers (WHC) of West Virginia and Maryland. Over the past five years, Ramsie’s raised $5 Million+ to protect reproductive health access from a blend of individual giving, foundation support, capital campaigns, and major gifts—all in some of the most challenging political and funding environments in the country. AMAZING! As some of you know, on September 13, 2022, anti-abortion politicians banned abortion in WV, so this year we are remembering the third year that women and abortion seekers in WV have been unable to access life-saving abortion care in their home state. However, it also marks two years since the leadership at WHC opened a second clinic, the WHC of Maryland, located five miles from the WV border in Cumberland, MD.
