Join us to celebrate all things freshwater on Sunday, 21 June.
📍Auckland Central Library
📅 Sunday 21 June.
⌚10–2pm
Roll up any time between 10am and 2pm to play nature-based games, do fun activities, and learn more about some of our taonga native species – including matuku-hūrepo | Australasian bittern and pekapeka | native bats.
There will be different stations set up inside the library with different activities. Rangatahi from the William Pike Challenge have designed one of the stations which looks at stealthy wetland species. Each activity runs for 15–20 minutes.
If the weather is nice, we’ll head outside to Albert Park for some outdoor fun.
