KC Pastors Missional Network Luncheon

The KC Pastors Missional Network includes pastors from a diversity of churches gathering to network, build community, discuss missional topics, and learn from each other as they share about what God is doing to advance His Kingdom through their churches and mission partners.

This luncheon will include some featured presentations about missional resources and opportunities for churches, including the He Gets Us campaign which is being powered by our ministry partner Gloo, and the KC Digital Bible Outreach Initiative being conducted in partnership with Faith Comes By Hearing and Mainstream Bible Outreach Society.

He Gets Us is a campaign designed to create cultural change in the way people think about Jesus and his relevance in our lives.

It’s time for people to meet the “real Jesus,” the radical Jesus of the Bible—the one who loves the “unloveable” and understands our human frailties because he experienced them all. He Gets Us will be historical, the most extensive Christian ad campaign ever, and the one generating the most connections to the local church, over 32,000, with a new one every 3 minutes.

The outreach is simple and consists of an easy to carry outreach piece in the form of a wallet card with a QR code that points to a special KC landing page in the Bible.IS app. The wallet card will also feature the translations of the word “Hope” in these languages. We are planning to print 200,000 cards and distribute them in batches to these ethnic ministry leaders and every church, group, ministry, or individual who wants them, so they can be widely shared around the KC metro area. When a recipient scans the QR code, they will drop into the KC landing page where they will see a compelling message and the Bible in their language!
