About this Event
Join us to develop ways to communicate a trauma-informed approach to working with young people in a way that doesn’t re-traumatise and supports them to have an influence and agency on how their stories are told and how they are seen, heard and valued.
The day will include keynote conversations, panel discussions, workshops activities and opportunities for peer learning and networking.
Together, we will discuss:
- What is evaluation? Why is it necessary? What are key features of evaluation?
- What do trauma-informed evaluation practices look like?
- What impact might arts-based methodologies make on evaluative practices?
- What does decolonising evaluation look like? How might organisations embed culturally aware, ethical approaches to evaluative activities?
- How do organisations measure impact, and for what purpose?
- How do we build strength in shared learning and resources?

With this conference Kazzum Arts are launching a Trauma-informed Creative Health Network to support trauma-informed practice. The aims of this network are to build capacity and partnership working, enhance training, share knowledge and best practice in trauma-informed working and create advocacy resources to support the communications of trauma-informed practice.
The conference will be co-designed with Kazzum’s Youth Power Group, which consists of young people from across our delivery programme.
Lunch is included along with light refreshments throughout the day.
