Founded in the summer of 2020 by Leen, a talented Syrian vocalist with a passion for classical Arabic music, and Johnny, a multi-instrumentalist with deep roots in Arabic musical traditions, Kazdoura brings a fresh twist to Arabic classics. Their music beautifully melds traditional Arabic tunes with a variety of Western influences, including jazz, funk, electro-pop, and disco, creating a sound that's both innovative and deeply cultural.

Since their formation, Kazdoura has captivated audiences in Toronto with their dynamic performances and has quickly built a strong community support through their residency at "The Oud and The Fuzz." Their performances at major festivals and venues, including the Palestinian Film Festival and Drom Taberna, have highlighted their ability to connect with diverse audiences through the power of music.
