The annual KayaXpedition is a free kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) event in Chesapeake. There is something for everyone--paddlers, music lovers, spectators--all are welcome! Food vendor will be on site.
Bring your own kayak/canoe/SUP to get out on the water or borrow one of our kayaks or canoes. All participants must wear a life jacket/personal flotation device while on the water.
Youth ages 12 to 17 may paddle in a separate boat but must be accompanied by an adult chaperone in another boat. Required ratio of youth participants to adult chaperones will be one to one - one adult chaperone for each youth participant.
Youth ages 11 years or younger must paddle in the same boat with an adult.
No motors or trailers, please.
