Paddle with the authors of the award-winning “Florida Keys Paddling Atlas,” 120 miles from Key Largo to Key West.Burnham Guides, aka Mary and Bill Burnham, have been leading this annual expedition along the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail since 2010.
This is a strenuous trip for experienced paddlers only. Daily mileage will range from 15 to 20 miles in potentially rough and windy conditions.
Meet-up Feb. 13 in Key Largo for dinner and camping, launching the next day. Land in Key West on Feb. 22.
Camping is a mix of primitive islands, state parks, and commercial campgrounds with full amenities.
Space is limited to 6 participants.
