Kayak Clean up at Holmes Lake

Join Nebraska Game & Parks outdoor educators and partners for a night of kayaking and cleaning up your local aquatic habitat. Because what’s good for wildlife is good for people too!
Basic instruction will be given at the beginning of the event, and all materials provided to those who register a kayak. You will be emailed prior to the event to confirm your registration and any needed details.
We will be providing trash bags & gloves for all those interested in helping to clean up trash while on the water. We will meet at the boat ramp and dock on the south side of the lake on Holmes S. Shore Road. This area is right in the middle on the south side of the lake. On google maps it is identified as Holmes Lake Sailboat Races.
This event is free and we welcome you to either borrow a kayak or bring your own! Due to limited kayak supply, we do require registration.
