Better Late Than Never! A Belated Birthday Celebration with Kay Kostopoulos and Noel Jewkes.

Join Vocalist Kay Kostopoulos and Jazz Master Noel Jewkes for an evening of fun, crazy life stories, and great music to celebrate Kay’s belated birthday. (She was born on August 20th and is a full fledged Leo). Free admission to anyone who can guess her age! HA!

Kay is an actress and jazz vocalist from the San Francisco Bay Area. She conceived “Black Olive Jazz” by combining her acting background with her Mediterranean heritage to establish a unique sound in jazz, performing songs from film and the Broadway stage to jazz standards.

Kay often plays finger cymbals on her recordings and in concerts. She has played numerous high-profile venues, including the Sonoma, Napa, Healdsburg, Vallejo, Sacramento, Palo Alto, and San Francisco Fillmore Jazz Festivals.

Noel Jewkes is one of the premier saxophone players in Northern California. He has worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 35 years and has earned a distinguished reputation with lovers of jazz music.

Noel has recorded with John Hendricks, Wesla Whitfield, Mary Stallings, Paula West, Mike Greensill, Lavay Smith, Bill Bell, Mimi Fox, Graham Bruce, Bobbe Norris, Larry Dunlap, Larry Vuckovich, Pat Yankee and Jerry Hahn, as well as his own ensembles.

Tickets are $20 advance, $25 at the door. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.

Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.

The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. The venue is ADA accessible. If you need more information or have any questions, please call us: #510-381-1997.
