Since being introduced to the art of jazz in her teenage years, Simone Lutzko has felt a connection to the genre and the nuances brought by modern big band interpretations of treasured jazz standards. This inspiration allows Simone to always incorporate different melodic and emotionally evoking ideas to the music she performs, taking instruction from the likes of talented Calgary saxophonists Nate Waters and Richard Harding.
