KATIE BRIANNA & DAN BRODIE are proud to present a double headline show "COME TO SEE ME IN THE DARK" at The MERRI CREEK TAVERN on FRI 27 MAY at 8pm. With DJ BEN LEECE + Guests.
Melbourne's Dan Brodie & Sydney based Katie Brianna met in Newtown between lockdowns whilst on tour in either 2021 or 2021 (they can't remember), bonding over shots of Patrón Silver Tequila, a love of Big Star and of course the sad song.
They have since performed together and apart at festivals including this year's cosmic country event, Dashville Skyline as well as Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Crowds have been bowled over by Katie's songwriting prowess and Dan's ability to catch a mood with a single devastating phrase.
Don't miss this Melbourne showcase of two of Australia's finest songwriters in the beautiful and intimate surrounds of the Merri Creek Tavern in Westgarth.
Come and see them in the dark...
DAN BRODIE
"If Dan Brodie were an actor, he wouldn't be the star of the show. He would be the guy the other actors on set wanted to hang out with, the guy the director would turn to when he needed a moment of inspiration to get the show on the road. This album.. shows why Brodie was twice nominated for ARIA Awards."
