With a lifetime of stories put into songs, Kate Redgate’s music is a lived-in mix of rock and roll, folk, roots-rock and country. The result of a high school dropout using time well spent absorbing her vast early musical influences, and then putting in the time to become a writer with her own voice.

A NewFolk finalist at the prestigious Kerville Folk Festival, Kate Redgate’s career spans decades of “here and there's” - from southern Illinois, to Montana, to New England. She has performed at SXSW, the South Florida Folk Festival Songwriters Showcase, Whitefish Songwriters Festival; is a “Boston’s Best” songwriter and a New England Music Award Songwriter of the Year Nominee – among countless other songwriter nods. All of this while working multiple jobs as a single mother – and a survivor of domestic abuse and hard times.

Her longtime Seacoast band features an all star cast: Richard Habib on drums, Jon McCormack on guitars, Jim Gambino on Keys, Mark Damon on bass (with Roland LeFox when Mark is on the road). This band knows how to handle these songs, framing Kate’s vocals with dynamic ease.

Kate released “Nothing Tragic” in 2009 to some international acclaim, After spending some time in the dark, her latest record, “Light Under The Door” was released on Rum Bar Records in June, 2023. This record is proof of her grit and determination - and not just in the songs. The album was recorded live in the studio, vocals and all over the course of 3 days.

Sarah Levecque is a songwriter, guitarist who moves easily between the sturdy roots of American music. Influenced in equal parts by early blues, country, folk, and rock music.
