York-based pianist Kate Ledger offers an innovative programme of miniatures, but with a minimalist slant. Centred around Philip Glass’ 'Music in Contrary Motion' and David Lang’s pieces 'Grind' and 'Cage'. We also have music by Karan Tanaka alongside James Williamson’s 'Fragments to Loop' (expect megaphones!) and the concert is bookend by two works by Matthew Lee Knowles from his 'For...' series.
