Paddlers On the 28th July is the famous Wuthering Heights Day Folkestone 2024
We would love for all the paddlers of either a paddle board or kayak to join us! Yes that is right….. time to wave those arms around and embrace our inner Kate Bush but from the WATER ??
Don’t worry we don’t expect you to stand and twirl around, we are aiming to sit or kneel and dance from the upper body. This is all about having some FUN and getting involved.
We will be participating in the 4pm routine as this works around high tide.

So don’t forget your red dress or t-shirt, bring your paddle and your fun spirit to the water and let’s create a sea of red both on land and water! ????
☀️ TIMINGS & LOCATIONS ☀️
10am – 11am: The Goods Yard opens up early for a revolving, mass warm-up and dance tutorial. No need for a ticket this year; just come along.
12pm - 2:30pm: First LAND dance and live music from the KT Band, a brilliant Kate Bush Tribute Band which includes an original member of Kate Bush’s band, perform on The Harbour Arm.
➡️??3:45pm Paddlers launch from the Slip or Sunny Sands
➡️??4pm Second performance takes place on The Harbour Arm and on the water. Open to all in a red dress or red t-shirt.
?❗️SAFETY NOTICE FOR PADDLERS❗️?
We will only cancel OUR participation in this event if the wind is not in our favour especially as this is in the outer harbour bay. We will make the announcement on the morning of the 28th if we can’t for safety reasons.
